Hub Combo: Type 2/2

Not as scarce as the 73-S but more difficult than the other SF dates, the 78-S is tough to find in nice condition. It garners a small premium over the common dates but still trades at about a 25% discount to the non-chopped coin. All examples have obverse two and reverse two.


Variety: Doubled Die Reverse

Not too difficult to find with a little looking. Attractive doubling shows nicely, predominantly on the arrowheads and 420, but also a minor amount on States. This variety currently does not have much premium over the common coin.
