Variety: Doubled Die Reverse
An extremely difficult and not widely known variety, this coin shows doubling on Grains as well as the middle letters of Trade Dollar. The mintmark has also been repunched. Some obverses share the repunched 77 with the 77/77-P RPD. While this coin should command a sizeable premium, it’s unlikely many people are aware the variety exists.
